What is required to play the video?

You can play the stream in Internet Explorer, Firefox or Opera. It is recommended that you use Firefox. You will need to install Macromedia Flash Player or if you do not have that player installed, Windows Media Player will be used to stream instead. The videos are encoded at 300 kbps for Flash Player and 350-400 kbps for Windows Media Player, so it is recommended that you have a decent connection that can download at 50 KB/s or over to watch these videos.

What's the difference between Flash Player and Windows Media Player?

The major difference between those two is the quality. Flash player streams at 300 kbps and Windows Media Player streams at 350-400 kbps. Since the Windows Media Player one is higher quality, it will require a connection a little bit faster. The difference is noticable, but with either one you get to watch the video at a very high quality stream.

What is buffering?

Buffering is when your media player downloads ahead of what you are currently seeing on the screen. As long as your buffer is ahead of your video, there should be no lag and your video should run smoothly.

How come my video is not buffering?

If you open and close a video too many times, you will experience this. Perhaps it's a function on the server to prevent users from flooding/hammering the server. If this happened to you on your first try then the server could be slow at that moment. If it continues to occur the video could be corrupt which needs replacing, in that case please contact an admin.

I watched half the video and it just stops!

Most of our streams are cut in half, because of the time limit imposed by our host. The videos are usually cut where commercial would be if you were to watch this in Japan while it's airing. Therefore, they shouldn't be cut abruptly in the middle of no where. You will need to click on part B of the video to continue to watch the rest of the episode.

Can I download the episode instead of streaming it?

You can download the video instead of streaming it using this site http://www.keepvid.com. We are in no way affiliated with that website, so if you have any questions please contact them.

I have a lot of anime and would like to help out!

If you have anime one your computer that you wouldn't mind re-encoding and uploading please contact xfob.

When I click the stream link nothing happens, what's wrong?

Most likely it's because you have a pop-up blocker installed. Please set your pop-up blocker to allow pop-ups from NarutoFOB.com and you should be able to open up the stream.
