Naruto Episode 103 Naruto Sunk?! The Big Ocean with a Swirling Plot.

Still the same situation, Idate runs off into the mountains followed by Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura which are again followed by 3 guys from Warasagi while the Wasaragi runner is on his boat accompanied by "his" shinobi. The Wasabi clansmen now think that Idate run off no one but the chief trusts him. Now it's finally revealed how important this match is the Wasaragi chief threatens to annihilate the Wasabi clan if Idate loses the race. Idate is running through the forest, thinking about the first time he met the Wasabi chief, Idate wanted to rob him but after beating him the chief didn't arrest him, but gave him a precious knife and something to eat (Idate was starving at this moment). Idate is so grateful for that, that he wants to serve the Wasabi chief he's offering himself as a subordinate. Change of themes, Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura are still chasing Idate but they're followed by 3 Hidden Rain shinobi whom they've met before. Naruto and Idate are tricked by a genjutsu made by the Hidden Rains but Sasuke and Sakura watched out for them, Idate is using a shinobi technique to find a way out of the genjutsu, but he is tricked and falls down a cliff, Naruto, however, is able to get a hold of him and pull him back up. Now we finally get to know why Idate didn't take the boat, he noticed that the sea was rough and the wind would be against him so he decided to head north where the supporting winds blow. They reach the home of an old fisher and Idate gets a boat from him. Sasuke is suspicious of Idates speed, it's far above ordinary and he suggests that Idate could've been to a hidden village, Naruto is pretty amused about that, he starts going on about the final Chuunin Exam after Sakura teased him, Idate hears them and interferes, it is now clear that Idate was a ninja once. Sasuke also notices that his last name Morino is the same as the first examiner of the Chuunin Exam, Morino Ibiki. It seems Idate is from Konoha. Idate is pretty surprised that his brother is alive he trys to find out more but just in that moment the shinobi of the hidden rain who have been following them in another vessel attack with crossbows. Sasuke decides to get offensive, he and Naruto will attack the enemy while Sakura guards Idate. Meanwhile the enemy is tieing his boat to theirs and while Sasuke is disracting them Naruto is supposed to cut off the ropes, but he lost all of his weapons while rescuing Idate from falling down the cliff. He now asks Idate for his knife, Idate reacts pissed and won't give it to Naruto, before they can get into a fight Sasuke throws over a Kunai and Naruto is able to cut off the ropes that bind the ship. Just as Naruto thought to be escaped bunshins pop out of the ground, Naruto isn't scared but Sasuke detects with his Sharingan that the real enemys are hiding in the clones. Naruto is attacked first but he manages to drive the one enemy attacking off the boat with his Kage-bunshin. Now the Hidden Rains use water clones and oil to attack and just as Sasuke is about to use his fire-ninjutsu Sakura can stop him and prevent anything worse. The enemy now shoots over a fire arrow and incinerates the oil which leaves the four of them no chance but to jump into the sea but against Sasukes advice Idate nearly flips and accuses them of using him as a decoy which is of course nonsense, Idate seems to have some bad memories about fire. Next Sakura uses the mast to destroy Bunshins that were attacking Idate. The moment Idate is attacked by a kunai Sakura jumps in and takes the wound for him Idate now finally seems to get a hold of himself and jumps in the sea. Idate makes it to the land just to be welcomed by the Hidden Rain shinobi that was accompanying the Wasaragi runner. He also seems to know him the shinobi is now going on about how many times he told Idate not to trust people and insulting him.
