Naruto Episode 100 Strong Teacher-Student Bonds. When A Man Breaks The Ninja Way.

At the beginning of this episode we see Lee who's entering the academy, inside Iruka is saying goodbye to his class which includes Konohamaru. He also tells them about the Fifth Hokages ceremony which will be held this afternoon. While Tsunade is still studying to improve the chance of success for Lees surgery.Lee is atop the academy and thinks about his first meeting with Gai. We also get to know more about Lees nindo which is to prove that ninja who is not skilled in ninjutsu nor genjutsu can become great and how Neji thinks about this.. Next scene, Kakashi and Gai are chancing rock, paper, and scissors for claim to the 49th win. Gai finds Lee on top of the academy stating that "he knows him better than lee himself" in their dialog we discover that Lee is afraid of the surgery because he can't influence its outcome with effort. Lee and Gai talk about Lees goals and dreams after that Gai advises him to undergo surgery. Next flashback(they're really frequent in this episode) Gai's taking his punishment for losing to Kakashi and walking 500 rounds around Konoha on hands as you can imagine everybody is laughing at him. In this flashback we also see Gai giving training-advice to Lee, looks like he has the strange if-I-do-this-and-that-it-will-happen idea from Gai as well. This training method is based on putting yourself in even greater trouble than before to be successful next time because of this Gai is convinced the surgery will be a success because Lee has put so much effort in everything. Gai also tells Lee that HIS goal is to make him into a great ninja and if that is not accomplished and Lee dies, he will die with him. (I dunno but this seems to strenghten Lees decision to undergo surgery...I mean I would be pretty scared..after all if you die the person precious to you states he will kill himself too..) Lee finally agrees to undergo surgery . Tsunades ceremony is held, she is now the 5th Hokage, she also managed to increase the chance of a success for the surgery to 58%. The episode ends with Tsunade saying that she now will protect Konoha as the 5th Hokage.
