Hybrid Mutt Part 1

Chapter 1- The NewcomerI woke up screaming his name. Why did he always die in my dreams when I knew perfectly well he was right beside my bed, still living? I lay there and stared at the ceiling as the sun rose, illuminating my room. “Come on Akiko, time to get up.” I told myself.
I was only twenty-five, but in a week I would be twenty-six. I mainly used my specialty jutsu to fight my enemies, though I loved messing with their heads using Sharingan. That’s right I was part Uchiha from my dad’s side of the family. He was half Uchiha and half Hyuuga, so that would make me one fourth Hyuuga and one fourth Uchiha, but the natural color of my eyes never showed it. They’re a bright lime green. I know, isn’t that odd, lime green eyes. My mom was from the Inuzuka clan but I didn’t have the markings on my face to show it. That was why I was fine with knowing that I had the Gobi (five tailed wolf demon) sealed in me, it showed itself on me with a wolf tail. I guess you could call me a hybrid mutt.
I got up and took a shower. I brushed my teeth, got dressed, and brushed my brown colored hair. I got my stuff and walked outside my house that was located in the Sand Village, where I currently lived. I saw Gaara sitting out on a roof top. I had taught him how to control the demon sealed inside him. That was probably why we got along so well and why he didn’t kill me. I waved goodbye to him and all he did was look at me. That was Gaara speak for goodbye.
Neji woke up to find Hinata scampering about the place. He constantly avoided her while she ran this way and that. “What’s Hinata doing?” he asked his uncle, Hiashi Hyuuga. “She’s emptying the room that our guest will be staying in.” “Who?” He asked as he looked up in confusion at his uncle. “She’s a ninja of many villages. She is also a very hybrid person. Apparently she has a long relationship to this family. When she shows up I want you and Hinata,” Hinata stopped at the sound of her own name and listened. “To make sure she knows the rules. She doesn’t exactly look like a normal person, so you’ll definitely know who she is.” He stopped at that feeling no need to say her name for surely she would introduce herself.
There was a knock at the door and Hinata rushed to get, and Neji followed straight behind her. They opened the door and a girl around her young twenties stood there in a light pink tank top with a back stripe going down the side and a fish net T-shirt underneath with fish net arm warmers. She had white shorts that dropped to the knee. Her eyes were lime green and her hair was brown, just a plain and simple brown. It was tied up in a pony-tail that rested high on her head, and bangs that were brushed off to the right of her face almost covering up one eye. She had a leaf village headband tied around her ankle. Her shoes were about three fourths inch heels. The other kind of shoes just didn’t work for her. She also had a tail that just seemed to do whatever it pleased.
“Hi, it’s me Akiko!!!” she said in a cheery voice. “Oh my gosh!!! I haven’t seen you two since you were little babies.” She exclaimed as she gave them a hug with one arm. In the other arm she held a fox stuffed animal. “Aren’t you a little old for stuffed animals?” Neji asked trying to sound smart. “Aren’t you the wrong type of person to be asking that? I mean after all he’s been my only companion except for… Oh!!!” she countered and then suddenly noticed Hiashi turning the corner. “Um, Uncle Hiashi, would you allow me to have pets here?” she asked while starting to settle down. “What do you mean, pets?” he asked with a confusing look on his face. All of a sudden three little heads popped out of her backpack. Two were fox cubs and the other was a wolf cub. “These little guys are my friends and they know how to stay out of the way. Can I let them here? If not, I always have other connections.” “No, they’re fine. Hinata, show her where she will be staying.”
Hinata led Akiko to an empty room with just a bed and a dresser. The place was too dreary for her so she ran to the curtains and rushed them open. “There, much better!!! Don’t you think Hinata?” She turned around but Hinata had already left. She unpacked her first bag, it had her clothes in it and her second bag had all her essentials and knick knacks. She put all her clothes in the closet and spread out everything in just the right way to make her feel comfortable. She pulled out three photos. One she placed facedown on the dresser and the other two she stood up. The one standing up was of her with her three cubs, Miyuki, and Chikara were the foxes and Soto was the wolf and the other was of her mother who she never really knew. She also pulled out a handful of headbands. One from each hidden village, except sound. That place crept her out.
Chapter 2- The Hybrid Mutt ReturnsI walked out and to Hokage’s place with my cubs following my. They always followed me everywhere. They were like my own little squad. I knocked on the door and Tsunade invited me in. “Welcome Akiko. You’ll be helping out one of my favorite squads, squad seven.” I nodded my head and left. “Did she have foxes and a wolf following her, and did she have a tail?” Shizune asked as she picked up her pet pig. “Yes, they’re part of her signature mark.” Tsunade replied. “Tsunade, why did you choose her to work with squad seven?” “I don’t know. She has a connection to all squads except one, so it was hard.”
I got to the training ground and sat up in a tree. Watching silently I observed the team. A blonde headed kid was ranting on and on about how their sensei was late. He was unusually late, that I could agree on. A pink haired girl was yelling at him to shut up or she would force it. He was apparently very scared of her because he stopped. The last kid had raven black hair he stood around and simply ignored the others bickering.
That fat idiot of a sensei was unreasonably late and I was about to leave when he appeared behind me. He grabbed me and I sicked my cubs on him. They tore him to shreds and he fell from the tree, scaring the three kids out of their minds. All of a sudden I realized who it was. She hopped down and helped him up. “I’m so sorry Kakashi.” I said in a concerning tone as she helped him up. “You think I would have learned not to sneak up on you.” He said standing up. “I mean, after you are the hybrid mutt. You’re tough, you had to stick up for yourself.” He continued while starting to blush.
“Kakashi Sensei!!! That’s not nice to call a girl a hybrid mutt.” The pink haired girl yelled at him. “But I am a hybrid mutt.” I said defending him. “What do you mean?” the blonde haired kid asked. “And how do you know Kakashi Sensei?” “Whoa, I’ll answer them one at a time. Now calm down.” I sat down on the ground and drew a diagram in the ground with a stick. “I am a hybrid mutt. My dad’s parents were an Uchiha and a Hyuuga, and my mom’s parents were both Inuzuka. So my dad was an Uchiha-Hyuuga and my mom was an Inuzuka. I also have a demon sealed in me. So from my dad I am hybrid and from my mom and the demon I’m a mutt. When you mix those together you get a hybrid mutt.”
I was proud of who I was so Kakashi let me explain to them. When I started Sakura was instantly interested in what I had to say. When I explained I was part Uchiha I got Sasuke’s attention. When I said I had a demon sealed in me, as expected I got Naruto’s interest. He meanwhile pulled out his book and began to read. The kids started sparring and I was training my cubs. Apparently I taught them fetch because Soto went over and grabbed his book. Kakashi looked over at me and I was sky gazing in the middle of the field. The cub dropped his book right beside me. He walked over to me.
Soto dropped the book beside me and I picked it up and handed it back to Kakashi when he came over. I was still lying on my back when Miyuki scampered over me, followed by Chikara who was chasing her. That might have been a reason why I liked Kakashi so much. He didn’t mind having so many canines running around him. One of those canines being me. He started reading his book as he still sat beside me. I snatched the book from him and looked at it. “You’re still reading this junk? You know you have no taste in books.” I handed the book back to him. He leaned over and blocked my view of the sky. “And you have bad taste in hobbies.” he said as he smiled.
God, that smile. Even though you couldn’t see underneath his mask, you could still see how sweet his smile was. I pushed him over and continued sky gazing. “Hey, Kakashi?” I asked. “Yeah, what?” he replied as he got up from me pushing him over. “Do you think that I could wander around town a bit? Would you be okay with the kids?” “Sure. Why do you want to go wander around town?” “There are some things I’d like to find.” Like my memory. I thought to myself as I sat up beside him. “Okay” he said with the simplest of voices. “Thanks.”
Chapter 3- Remember The AcademyI got up and walked off into the village. The first thing I did was go by the academy. “I wish I could remember the fun times I had here.” I said to myself as I walked closer. When I got to the edge of the grounds I noticed an awfully familiar hair-do. “Hey Pony-tail!!!” I screamed out, hopping it was him. As soon as Iruka turned around I remembered something.
He was standing at the shrine crying his eyes out and I watched him. “It’s hard to lose someone you love.” I said in a reassuring tone. He wiped away the tears on his face and stopped crying. “It’s okay. You don’t have to stop crying just because I’m here. I know exactly how you feel about your parent’s death.” I said as I stood beside him. He looked at me in anger and screamed at me. “How would you even possibly know what it feels like to lose your parents? You have a dad.” I got frightened and backed of a bit. I figured he needed his space.
“Hey, stop yelling at her.” another voice said coming from the bushes. “She lost her mom when she was born and her dad is nothing but a drunken disgrace to everyone. Sometimes she wishes he was dead.” He said as he came out from the bushes. It was Kakashi and what he’d said was true, because I tell him everything. He is one of the only kids that doesn’t throw stuff at me at the academy. In fact he stops them and he is the only friend I can confide myself in.
“Hey Akiko, wake up.” I opened my eyes and my head was spinning out of control. “I’m okay, really. I just lost my balance.” I said trying to hide the fact that I’d forgotten everything about Konoha when I was a kid, except for bits and pieces. I brushed my self off and turned to Iruka. “Hey so where have you been?” he asked with a sincere smile. “Oh, in the past twelve years, I’ve been here and there.” Even though I wasn’t quite sure where I was before that. I thought to myself “So what are you up to?” I asked him. “Oh, I teach at the academy.” He replied as a kid came up behind him. “Iruka Sensei, we need your help. The tetherball got stuck.” “I’ll let you go back to work.” I said as I walked off.
Chapter 4- Cousins All Around“At least I remembered him.” I whispered to myself. Just then I saw Neji walking around with his squad. “Hey Neji!!!” I shouted to him. I ran over to his squad. “Who is that?” a girl with a bun-style hair do asked him. “I’m Neji’s cousin, Akiko.” I said only because I over heard. “And who are you?” I asked to all of them. “I’m Ten-Ten.” The girl said. “I’m Rock Lee.” a kid in a green jumpsuit said. “And I’m their sensei, Gai Sensei!!!” a guy who looked like an older version Rock Lee said. “So how many cousins do you have Neji?” Lee asked. He said nothing but instead gave me a semi-evil glare. “I wouldn’t do that.” I said as I bent down to his level. “You don’t really know me so you don’t exactly know what type of hybrid I am.”
I left them alone and continued to walk around when I saw Hinata. “Hey, Akiko I want you to meet my friends.” She called to me. I walked over and one was from the Inuzuka clan. “Well it looks like I have two cousins in one group. Kiba, the last time I saw you, you were just a little baby.” I gave him a hug with one arm because apparently I was till carrying around my stuffed animal and my cubs were still following me. “Who are you?” he asked as I let go of him. “That’s really sad Kiba, you can’t even recognize member of your own clan.” “You don’t look it.” “Yeah, but I don’t look Uchiha or Hyuuga either. The Gobi has most of my traits.”
I smiled and stared up to the sky. I loved the sky, it gave me a free feeling like I got when someone killed my dad. “I know you.” An unfamiliar voice said. I looked at him and because of the way he was dressed I knew he was from the Aburame clan. “You’re Akiko.” “How did you know that, I don’t even know you?” “Well you are kind of famous to our clan.” “Oh yeah, that’s right I helped you guys out once. Hey thanks for the awesome snacks. But anyways Kiba, I know your mom she’s my aunt. Well I’ll leave you all to your training.” I said as I walked off. It seemed as if I had more connections to this village than I thought.
Chapter 5- TrainingI went back to the training grounds and he was doing the bell exercise again. He had originally used that to determine if the would be able stay Genin or not, but now he was just using it as a training method. I figured it would be fun to join in unexpected. “Go trip him.” I told my cubs and ran up to him and scurried around his feet. I knew they wouldn’t trip him, but instead they would distract him. I ran up to him and my cubs scattered. I kissed him in the cheek and grabbed the bells.
“I win!!!” I said cheerfully as I turned around and raised the bells in the air. “Not quite Akiko.” He said as he pulled my tail and fell to the ground. I accidentally dug my heel into the ground while Naruto was in front of me. “Naruto don’t move.” I said as he stopped dead in his tracks. I pulled my heel out of the ground and stuck the other one in. “Okay, you’re safe.” “Why was I not?” “My right heel has a dissolving acid in it and when I dug it into the ground I created a giant sinkhole, while my other heel can quickly fill that area.” I explained. “I meant to get rid of that stuff.”
About three hours of training went by and I suggested we train with the other squads as well. They all agreed and I went off and got the other squads. I came back with Ino, Chouji, Shikamaru, and Asuma. And Ten-Ten, Neji, Lee, and Gai. And Hinata, Kiba, Shino, and Kurenai. All of us Jounin decided that we would start with an exercise I learned as a Genin. I drew five separate boxes in the ground with a stick. “Now the objective is to get even a scratch on each of us without coming within one foot of each of our areas. You have three hours” There was a pause in the wind and I started it. “Jounin ready.” Kakashi pulled out his book, Asuma pulled out his knuckle blades, Kurenai started her genjutsu, Gai readied himself, and I was ready to release my cubs’ true forms. “Genin go!!!” I shouted.
They all hopped into the bushes behind them and I let my cubs into their true forms. They grew to where their shoulders reached my waist. Miyuki had three tails and Chikara grew wings. Soto grew long fangs and he howled to the sky. I used my Shyakugan, a mix of Sharingan and Byakugan; yes I was the only girl Uchiha to have Sharingan. I used it to locate the kids. “Shyakugan Cub Hunt.” I said as I motioned for my cubs to go into the forest. I gave my cubs directions to the kids.
Kakashi used his Sharingan and everyone else got ready. “Flush them out.” I screamed to my cubs. Next thing I knew my cubs were chasing them out of the bushes. “Soto, come.” I demanded as the kids made many failed attempts to lay a scratch on us. I hopped on Soto and the kids started cheering. “Why are you cheering, I said nothing about us coming out of the boxes.” I charged at them and my cubs and I found a way to lure them to the other Jounin so they could tie them to the trees.
They were tied to the trees for two and a half hour so that means it only took us half an hour to do it. It only took us that long because we took our sweet time with it. Neji had used his Byakugan to try to block our chakra points, but couldn’t even get close to us. Ten-Ten tried to get us with a shower of kunai and Rock lee tried to fight with Gai. Hinata and Shino tried a group attack. I went head to head with Kiba. Naruto and Sakura got caught by Shikamaru’s shadow jutsu and Ino tried to take over Soto. Chouji tried to roll over us but we quickly dodged him and he ran into a tree. Sasuke went head to head with Kakashi and wound up tied to a tree by Kurenai.
We untied them. “Looks like you all need to practice some more.” I said as I returned my cubs to their normal form. “All right we have all talked about it and training is over for today.” “Wait, how were we supposed to win?” asked Sakura. “You should have analyzed our moves when you first came at us and stopped using the same attacks over and over again.” I explained. I turned around and went to walk off when Soto and Miyuki knocked me off balance and began to fall backwards. I reached my hand out; just hoping someone would prevent me from falling.
I thought I had fallen and hit the ground, but when I opened my eyes someone had caught my wrist. It was Kakashi. I didn’t realize it but I turned a deep scarlet. He pulled me up and I caught my balance. Everyone else had left and thank goodness. That was really embarrassing. All of a sudden I felt pain on my arm I looked at it and someone had managed to scratch me. I sniffed it hoping that their scent would still be there. It reeked of a demons scent. It was the same scent that was on my dad when he was killed in this village.
Chapter 6- Demons Meet“Kyuubi.” I whispered to myself. I remembered when my dad died. He had always beaten me just to prove to his friends how strong he was. I often wished he was dead. He’d collapse at our door and I’d always have to drag him in. It was embarrassing to go to the academy because everyone would be making fun of me for what I was and who my dad was. “I’m not him!” I’d scream to everyone and no one would get the point.
He was a disgrace to both of his clans so they wound up kicking him out. I wasn’t considered an outcast though. Everyone in my clan respected the fact that I was different than my dad. When the Kyuubi killed him I was happy because I was free. It was his entire fault anyways. It was his fault my mom was dead. It was his fault no one liked me. It was his fault that the Gobi sealing had screwed up. He was drunk when he did it. That was why I had a tail and that was the only reason I thanked him. My tail was what made me, me. I had visited the baby with the Kyuubi sealed in him and thanked him for setting me free. After that I left for the other villages.
I woke up and found myself in the hospital. I only seemed to be passing out when I remembered something. All of a sudden Kakashi walked in followed by Sasuke, Sakura, and Naruto who had managed to catch my cubs. They released them and they scurried up and curled right beside me. They were starting to mature. Soto was getting a black stripe down his back. Miyuki was starting to get black rings around her ankles. And Chikara was starting to get a black ring around her neck.
“How long was I out?” I asked in a soft tone as I stroked Soto’s back. “A surprising four days.” Naruto said as he turned around and walked away as did Sasuke and Kakashi. Sakura sat next to me. “Tomorrow, it’s coming so soon?” I asked myself as I looked at my hand. “Um... Akiko, can I tell you something?” I looked up at Sakura and her pink had disappeared. It was now black. “What happened to your hair?” I asked in shock. “That’s it. I only hang around Sasuke so much because I hope he’ll notice. I’m not a plain simple helpless girl. I’m from the same clan as him. He’s just too incompetent to notice it. And my real name isn’t Sakura, its Takuni.” Tears streamed down her face. I leaned over and gave her a reassuring hug. “You know if you just show yourself, I’m sure no one will judge you, and I’m sure he’ll notice.”
I was finally able to leave the hospital. I was glad no one knew why I was always passing out. It would just mean more worry for everyone. I walked around the village and it was getting late. I saw how people’s lives touched others. How people were kind and showed their true side most of the time. I looked up and the night sky and it was almost a full moon. “Tomorrow. It’s coming to soon.” I said in a whisper. I talked to myself too much, but it was a way for me to have a one person conversation. Next thing I knew tears started streaming down my face. I don’t know why, they just did. Leaking out one by one until it became more constant.
Chapter 7- I Want To RememberI ran home and went into my room. “Why can’t I remember anything!?!” I screamed into my pillow. Just then the face down picture fell to the floor with a crash. I picked it up and the glass had shattered. The picture was on the floor and all I held was a frame. I picked up the actual picture and it was of me with all these kids around me. I seemed happy and Kakashi was standing back to back with me. Even Iruka was there. The rest of them looked like they had something in common with me. I just wished I knew what happened back when I was a kid.
I cleaned up the glass and threw away the frame. I laid the picture on my dresser, facedown as it had been with the frame. Just then someone knocked on my door. I opened it and Hinata stood there. “I heard a crash and wanted to know if everything was okay.” She asked while holding her hands close in front of her. “Yeah, I’m fine. Hey I’ll give you a secret. If you hold your hands down you seem more confident. I know you’re confident already, but the way you stand doesn’t say it. So I bet people will take you a little more serious if you hold your hands down.” She left and I shut the door. I looked over at my cubs that were curled up together. I went to my bed and fell asleep.
Chapter 8- BirthdayI woke up and wouldn’t believe it was already my birthday. I told myself to forget it. I got up showered, brushed my teeth and hair. My normal ritual and then I went out to the square. Neji was training with Uncle Hiashi there. “Ah, just the person I wanted to see. Would you mind demonstrating to Neji what good training can do?” I nodded my head and went into the middle of the square as Neji sat down.
I whistled for my cubs though I wouldn’t really be using them. I readied to release them and Uncle Hiashi started the match. I released them and their true fur patterns had set in. They surrounded around the other side of him to prevent him from going anywhere. I activated my Shyakugan and preformed the hand seals that released my specialty jutsu. “Split Personality Jutsu, Kyuubi reappearance.” Just then a solid clone, not exactly a shadow clone, appeared right beside me. It looked as I would look if I had the Kyuubi sealed inside me. We again preformed special hand seals. “Canine Demon Duo Jutsu, Claw Slash.”
We came at him from different sides and he was about to use that sixty-four strike thing, but being of the same clan I knew how to dodge it. We attacked at the same time and knocked him into the tree behind him. He ended the demonstration and I made the clone disappear. I returned my cubs to their normal state. “Good Job.” He said as I reached my hand out to him. He took it and I pulled him up. “Where did you learn that?” he asked. “I created it. No one has ever heard of Split Personality Jutsu, until they see me use it.” I stated as I walked off.
I had forgotten all about it being my birthday and I hoped it would stay that way, but it didn’t. When I went to the vet my cousin and my aunt told me happy birthday and gave my cubs a free checkup. When I went to the training grounds Naruto, Sasuke and Takuni yelled surprise and gave me a bag off kunai. They were all little gifts, but it’s the small ones from friends that you can’t forget. Kakashi was going to be late as usual so I started the training. When I began to explain Kakashi actually came on time “Happy birthday Akiko!” he shouted as he walked over “And to celebrate, I’m calling off training.”
Everyone else left and as he went to leave I took his hand and kept him from leaving without realizing it. “Kakashi, do you remember thirteen years ago, today I left?” he nodded his head “Yeah, why?” “Well, everything before that is a big fuzzy haze. I remember little bits and pieces and when I finally remember other pieces I pass out. And tonight, when the full moon reaches the middle off the sky, the Gobi will show itself. I don’t know if anyone will be safe or not. I was unconscious the last time it happened. It would be good if you stay away from me for the rest of the day.”
I looked over at my cubs and they wouldn’t revert back to their normal stages. Yup, today was the day it was going to happen. Next thing I knew Kakashi put his arm around me. He started to walk, taking me along with him. He took me to the ramen place and treated me to a bowl of ramen. We sat there for a long time and just talked about random things. He always made me laugh. Sometimes he would make me laugh so hard that I would start to cry.
All of a sudden he brought up my cubs. “So, what’s with your foxes and wolf?” “They were wandering around in the forest when I found them. At first I gave them some food because they looked starved and after that they wouldn’t stop following me. Then two year went by and they were bigger. I figured people would be frightened by their appearance so I found a way to keep them in their cute cuddly cub forms. But now they won’t revert back, but that’s okay with me. I like them better this way.” I finished the rest of my ramen and the moon had already begun to rise.
I went home and told Uncle Hiashi that I would be camping out tonight. He let me and I headed into the woods. The wind was chilly and my jacket wasn’t doing much for me. I began to go into a sleepy trance and I rested my head Soto. Chikara’s wings were spread out and one lay on top of me like a cover. Thirteen years ago, this exact same thing happened. I thought to myself as my eyes began to close. As they did I noticed a shadowy figure walking up to me. I sat beside me and I was too hazy to do anything about it.
Chapter 9- Konoha’s Best TeamI woke up and destruction was all around me. I was lying in the center of it all. I sat up and noticed that people were running from me. Scared as they had been thirteen years ago and in thirteen more years it would start again. I sat up and then I remembered something, and as I fell someone caught me.
It was back at the academy; at first I had no friends, considered a freak. But as time grew I gained friends, and they all connections with me. Me, Kakashi, and Iruka were the kids who lost their parents, me and the Uchihas, me and the Inuzukas, and me and the Hyuugas. We all had a connection, it was me.
I woke up and someone was carrying me. When I looked up it was Kakashi. It seemed as if he was always there for me. “Well I see someone’s up.” He said as he let me on my feet. “Tsunade has requested us for a mission.” When we go to the Hokage’s place I knocked on the door and she let us in. “Kakashi, Akiko, your skills are spectacular and just the two of you would be enough to make and army. That’s why we need you to be the frontal attack. The waterfall village is planning an attack. So we need you to weaken their forces at the frontal line.” We nodded and I headed home to get ready. I was just glad it was on the one village that wouldn’t pass me, so I wasn’t a ninja there. I put all of my headbands on and packed some revisions.I met Kakashi at the gate and he asked me if I would be passing out again. “No, I’ve finally remembered everything.” I said as we started out. About halfway to the border we came across a group of waterfall ninja. It was a big army of them. “That must be their frontal attack. Here ride Soto, for now he’ll do as you say.” I told him as I mounted Chikara. She went up into the air.
She seemed as if she was walking on air as she dove down towards them. Meanwhile Kakashi was going through the woods. As we got close I hopped of Chikara and landed on the ground. Kakashi made it just in time and my cubs spread throughout the surrounding trees. “Hah, is this the best Konoha can do, an old man and a girl. I thought Konoha was better.” That ticked me off and began the hand seals to use my specialty jutsu. “If you think that Konoha can’t do better than us, then you’re right. But what you’re wrong about is our strength.” I preformed the final hand seal and motioned for Kakashi to get back. “Split Personality Jutsu, Nine Demon reappearance.”
All of a sudden there were eight clones of me total but one had the Ichibi (one tailed raccoon demon) demon form of me. Along with the Nibi (two tailed cat demon) demon, the Sanbi (three tailed fish demon) demon, the Yonbi (four tailed reptile demon) demon, and me, the Gobi. I also had the other four demon forms there too. The Rokubi (six tailed weasel demon) demon, the Shichibi (seven tailed badger demon) demon, the Hachibi (eight tailed snake demon) demon, and of course the Kyuubi demon form of me.
All nine of us stood there and frightened expressions appeared on the waterfall ninja’s faces. “Do you really want to mess with me?” we all asked in unison. The waterfall ninja came charging towards us. We all bit our thumbs and used the summoning Jutsu for each of our demons. “Kakashi, call Soto he’ll help you.” I screamed to him. He called him and Soto came out and they began to fight. Miyuki followed along with Chikara.
After it was all finished I was out of chakra and began to feel dizzy. I released the summonings, and then the clones. Miyuki came over and Kakashi put me on her back. And we all walked home. The waterfall ninja had gotten scared when we defeated more that half of their group and ran off. So we had won. One third of the way back to Konoha I passed out, but this time it was peaceful, it wasn’t a memory this time.
Chapter 10- The Sand VillageI woke up in my room and the morning seemed more beautiful than normal. I got up and went for a walk outside. Right now wouldn’t be a great time for me to do anything suspicious. I thought to myself. I went to Tsunade and asked if I could take my team to the sand village. She allowed me and I went to go get packed.
“Get packed everyone. We’re going on a trip.” I told them the next day at practice. They ran home and about an hour later they all met me at the gate. “So how are we going to travel?” Takuni asked me. She had really come out of her shell ever since she told me who she really was and now she had caused Sasuke’s scowl to go away. He actually didn’t mind having her by his side so much. “Here let me show you.” I replied and I preformed a couple of hand seals. “Canine Enlargement Jutsu, Double Size.” All of a sudden my cubs doubled in size. They were large enough for two people to ride them.
Naruto volunteered to ride with the supplies on Miyuki and Takuni wanted to ride with Sasuke on Soto. That just left Kakashi and me to ride Chikara. We set off and about half way there Naruto fell asleep. Takuni had fallen asleep on Sasuke’s back and he too had fallen asleep. Kakashi was the only one to have not fallen asleep. I was leaned back on him and he had his arms around me, reading his book.
It was sunrise when we got there and my cubs were tired. We went to my house and I let them into their basket to sleep while the rest of us went out to walk around. I found Gaara sitting on the exact same rooftop as he was when I left. “Hey Gaara!!!” I called to him as I waved he saw me and came down. Sasuke, Naruto, and Takuni hid behind me and Kakashi with fear as he approached.
“Great to see you’re back Akiko Sensei.” He said with almost no emotion. I noticed the kids cowering behind us. “What are you so afraid of? Gaara’s a good kid.” I asked as I ruffled Gaara’s hair. “Akiko Sensei!?!” Naruto asked while screaming. “Yes, I was his sensei. I taught him many things about having a demon sealed in him. And you have to understand he only attacked the village because he didn’t know Orochimaru killed his dad. So when his “dad” asked him to help in the plan he thought he would earn his dad’s respect if he did it.”
Just then Temari showed up along with Kankuro. “You came back Akiko.” Temari said. “Yes, I came back. Did you think I would leave forever? And besides I have a mission here that I didn’t complete.” All of a sudden kunai and shuriken flew out of no where and without warning Soto Jumped in front of them. “Soto!!!” I screamed as bent down to help him. I pulled the shuriken and kunai out and tried to heal him. “Kakashi help me move him inside.” Why did it have to happen to him? I asked myself.
